Huge win by Isles. I really thought we were toast after those two softies by Nabby in first. Nabby huge in last shootout save.
But they came out to play in 2nd. 57 shots wow.

Well, i sure pretty much all the hickey haters are probably gone from here.
which leaves A-Mac. sure he coughed one up that lead to a goal but the guy had a strong night. 28 mins. (way too much in my opinion)
Stop being a AMac hater. they guy leads the league in block shots.

Hope they not gassed for tonight game vs Boston. They going to need 5 to win. Poulin in next. he good for at least 3-4GAA.

Nice to see Bridgeport finally wake up. Hopefully that gets them going.

if Strome is not first in AHL by year end in points, then that is disappointing.

Now X you forgot the D. I guess I cannot blame you. All I ask of the D is if you cannot block the shot, get out of Poulin's way. Please also try not crashing into him or pushing players into him.

Strome has played a few less games than the scoring leaders and is 6th in the league. He definitely may finish first in the AHL.

AHL is a very underrated league. might be the 2nd hardest league in the world after the NHL, ahead of the KHL even. if strome doesn't win the scoring title as a rookie, i wouldn't look into it too much.

I see visions of Isles D deflecting pucks into their own net. Maybe the Rangers can teach them how to block shots? Would be interesting to see how Poulin would do in front of this Ranger D.

Strome doesn't have to lead the league in scoring, just has to establish himself to become a better player. If he produces and is among the leaders, that's great, if not, no big deal...
Tons of players have not produced in the AHL and became good players and vice versa..

I agree. No need to get hung up on stats. Focus needs to be on doing the right things and letting the talent take over.

He would not doubt win a few games for sure. It would have been nice for Poulin to get some time last year when the Isles learned how to play D and the forwards found the D zone.

Did you really expect us to beat you with Hagelin and Kreider in the lineup?

He played well and scored a goal. He was crying the first period because he hasn't seen Moulson in a few days but by the second period I think he gave him a call and he was much better.

hags was such a shot of adrenaline into the arm of this rangers squad. literally the whole team from the coach to every player said that hagelin's energy and work ethic is contagious and spreads to the whole team. i know you're just trolling but hagelin is a huge difference maker for this rangers squad. he also got the assist on the game winning goal so suck it

3.3% means he got 1 vote out of 30. which means that 25 other players got 1 vote each but for some reason they chose to list hagelin on there.

anyway, hagelin is pretty underrated and any knowledgable analyst would tell you that. i don't wanna start another hagelin debate though you god damn troll. i came in here promoting strome and then you guys turn it into a hagelin d!ck measuring contest
